Under Graduate Teacher (UGT):

1. Educational Qualification:
   • Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with:
     • At least 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.).
     • OR At least 50% marks + 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
     • OR Graduation + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
   • Passed Tripura Teacher Eligibility Test (T-TET) Paper-I and obtained a certificate from TRBT.
2. Desirable:
   • Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok.
   • Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) of Tripura is mandatory.

Graduate Teacher (GT):

1. Educational Qualification:
   • Graduation with:
     • At least 50% marks + B.Ed.
     • OR At least 45% marks (as per NCTE norms) + B.Ed.
     • OR Post-Graduation with at least 55% marks + 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
   • Passed Tripura Teacher Eligibility Test (T-TET) Paper-II and obtained a certificate from TRBT.
2. Desirable:
   • Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok.
   • Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) of Tripura is mandatory.
